Discover the Flavors of Nature: Farm to Table Camp at Woodson Branch Nature School

Are you looking for a summer camp experience that combines hands-on learning, delicious food, and the beauty of the outdoors? Look no further than Woodson Branch Nature School's Farm to Table Camp! This unique program invites campers to immerse themselves in the world of agriculture, culinary arts, and sustainable living, all while having fun in the sun.

Experience the Magic of Harvesting & Cooking Your Own Food

At Farm to Table Camp, we believe that there's something truly magical about growing your own food and transforming it into delicious meals. That's why we've created a camp experience that allows campers to explore every step of the journey, from seed to plate.

What to Expect

Throughout the week, campers will engage in a variety of hands-on activities and experiences, including:

  • Working in the Garden: Campers will roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty as they help tend to our organic garden. From planting seeds to watering plants to harvesting ripe fruits and vegetables, campers will learn the ins and outs of sustainable gardening practices.

  • Harvesting & Cooking: There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of cooking with ingredients you've grown yourself. Campers will work together to harvest fresh produce from the garden and then head to the kitchen to turn their bounty into mouthwatering meals. From simple salads to hearty soups to delicious desserts, there's no limit to what they can create!

  • Learning & Exploring: In addition to hands-on gardening and cooking activities, campers will also participate in educational workshops and nature hikes focused on topics such as soil health, plant life cycles, and the importance of eating locally and seasonally.

A Whole New Appreciation for Food

By the end of the week, campers will have gained a whole new appreciation for where food comes from and the importance of making healthy, sustainable food choices. They'll leave camp with a deeper connection to the natural world, newfound culinary skills, and memories that will last a lifetime.
